Michael Maurer | Graduate Student OpenCBDC Software Engineer Spring 2023-present
Michael is currently a Senior at Northeastern University studying Electrical and Computer Engineering, with minors in Computer Science and Mathematics. He will be working on OpenCBDC as a Software Engineering Intern.
Previously, Michael worked as a research assistant at The Athinoula A. Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging, developing software-implemented methods for motion-robust NMR image processing. He has also worked as a hardware engineer at Doble Engineering and as a tutor.
Michael has academic interests in high-performance computing, distributed systems, and computer architecture. Michael is also a big sports fan and likes to cook.

Hi, my name is Jenny, and I'm a first-year undergraduate student planning to double major in physics and EECS. At DCI, I will be working on fundamental stablecoin research and risk evaluation. I'm interested in the intersection between technology and finance. I have had some investment experience in digital currency and am excited to learn more about it through the DCI! Alicia Lin ('27) is an MIT undergraduate majoring in 6-4 (Artificial Intelligence and Decision Making) and 18 (Mathematics). Born and raised in Austin, Texas, they have a background in competitive math and programming, as well as pure math and document data extraction research. For fun, they enjoy creative writing, playing music, and creating digital art. This term, they will be working on DCI's CoinJoin project to improve privacy in cryptocurrency transactions.
